Directions:
You and your partner, who run the Constellation Connection Company or C3, have been hired as presenters at a local elementary school. The kindergarten through second grade students are studying constellations and the teachers have heard great things about your company. Your mission is to create and present a presentation about constellations which you will present to K - 2nd grade students at the local elementary school.
In order to create a PowerPoint presentation, you
will need to do some research on constellations. The school would like you
to present on one circumpolar constellation and one seasonal constellation for
a total of two constellations. To discover which ones they would like you to
present, please click here for your
circumpolar constellation & here for your
seasonal constellation. Please make
sure to write it down. They have provided you with a research form
they would like you to use, so that all the information they need you to teach
is present.
When you gather data, you must remember to cite any information you use. This includes pictures and graphs. At the end of the research form, there is a page for you to list all of the web sites you used. Please put it in MLA format. If you are not sure how to put it in MLA format, go to Citation Machine for a great program that will help you cite sources in MLA style.
