Welcome to the Constellation Connection webquest. One of the best ways for a student to learn is by teaching the concept. The students will design a PowerPoint which will be designed to teach kindergarten through second grade students about constellations. After they have created the PowerPoint, they will then present it to children at a local elementary school.
The curriculum web is designed to help middle school students understand what a constellation is, the stars which of which it is composed, any special features, and the Greek mythology behind it name.
This webquest is designed for seventh grade students in Arizona in a regular education science class.
Students will be able to identify constellations.
Students will recognize patterns in constellations.
